Equal Opportunities
The Institute of Cancer Research recognises the benefits that a diverse workforce offers and believes that every member of staff has a right to work in an environment which encourages harmonious relationships.
All decisions concerning terms of employment, opportunities afforded for promotion, transfers, training and other benefits are based on an individual’s qualifications, ability and fitness to perform the required duties and are linked to objective, job-related criteria. Discrimination, harassment or victimisation will not be tolerated and will be treated seriously.
To help us monitor equality of opportunity we ask all applicants to complete a monitoring form which we keep separate from the selection process. Disabled applicants are offered confidential advice and if necessary, ‘reasonable adjustments’ from our Diversity and Disability Advisor.
