Cancer Research UK Centre for Cell and Molecular Biology
Professor Chris Marshall
In April 1994, Cancer Research UK (then the Cancer Research Campaign) established the Cancer Research UK Centre for Cell and Molecular Biology. The Director of the Centre is Professor Chris Marshall FRS. A major part of our funding comes from Cancer Research UK in the form of a rolling 5 year programme grant. This funding supports positions and consumables in eight research groups as well as core resources such as a DNA sequencing lab, protein sequencing lab and hybridoma unit.
